Adding custom fields in SendSuite Tracking Online
You can add custom fields to Contact forms, Receive, Edit, and Deliver forms, or Manage Asset forms.

You can add custom fields to Contact forms, Receive, Edit, and Deliver forms, or Manage Asset forms. Only users with an Admin role can perform this procedure.
Features availability varies by subscription level. If you have any questions regarding your subscription level, please contact your administrator.
Notes:
- Custom fields may be added to different forms:
- Custom contact fields for Contact forms
- Custom package fields for Receive, Edit, Deliver forms
- Custom asset fields for Manage Asset forms
- A maximum of 5 custom fields may be added to each form.
- Two types of fields may be added:
- Text box
- List
- In SendSuite Tracking Online, custom fields are shown to the right of the standard fields. In the mobile app, custom fields are shown below the standard fields.
- Sign in to SendSuite Tracking Online with an administrator account.
- Go to the custom field management screen for the type of field you wish to create:
- For contact forms, go to Settings > Contacts - Recipients and Senders > Manage Contact Fields.
- For package and asset forms, go to Settings > Form Layouts.
- In the Custom Fields section, click the + button.
- Enter the Field name.
- Select the field type:
- Text box: A single-line free text field.
- (Optional) Select Show Preview to see how the field will look. When finished previewing, select Hide Preview.
- List: A list of allowed values from which the user may select.
- In the List options field, enter each value for the list, pressing Enter after each item.
- (Optional) To set a default value, place the desired default at the top of the list and select Set the first option as default.
- (Optional) Select Show Preview to see how the list will look and behave. When finished previewing, select Hide Preview.
- Text box: A single-line free text field.
- Custom Package and Asset fields only: Select the forms on which the new custom field should be displayed:
- Receive, Edit, and Deliver Forms
- Manage Asset Form
- Select Save.
- (Optional) To change the order of the custom fields, click and drag them to the desired positions.
- When finished adding custom fields, select Home to return to the Home screen.
