Resolve customs form required for exempt government agency when shipping to APO/FPO/DPO in SendSuite Xpress or Ascent

Learn how to resolve customs forms being required when shipping packages to APO/FPO/DPO even though the government agency is exempt after updating to SendSuite Xpress 2.75 or Ascent 9.75.

Issue

When a government agency ships a package to an APO/FPO/DPO, SendSuite® Xpress 2.75 or Ascent™ 9.75 requires the use of customs forms even though the agency is exempt.

Cause

This change was caused by the SendSuite Xpress 2.75 or Ascent 9.75 update, which complied with United States Postal Service (USPS) requirement changes for overseas shipments. An exemption was not made for Official Mail customers.
