Smarter report names for easier tracking

Exported report names are now clearer, showing the report type, date range, and export time—making it easier to find exactly what you need in the Exports tab.
How it works:

Applies to Custom, Favorite, and Scheduled reports (Email/SFTP) in CSV or XLS formats. Naming includes Report Name/Type, Scheduled ID, Date Range, and Export Date/Time—displayed in your local time zone. File names can be 1–150 characters.

Standardized carrier service class names

To enhance consistency, we've standardized the carrier service class names across all reports and dashboards. This update eliminates discrepancies between Basic and Advanced categories, improving clarity and user experience.
Where to view:
  1. Go to the Sending Reports and Dashboards sections for the updated service class names.
  2. This update applies to SPE, Meter, SP360 Shipping/Stamps transactions, Manual Transactions, and Manage Surcharges.

Enhanced refill reports with ledger balance integration

PitneyShip Pro Shipping clients will now benefit from Refill Reports that integrate Shipping Ledger balances. The updated report offers full visibility of balance transactions, making it easier to track your financial data.
Where to view:
  1. Access the Refill Reports under PitneyAnalytics for the updated shipping balance data.
  2. New filters allow you to view Meter and Shipping transactions separately.

Enhanced report scheduling with local time zone display

Scheduling reports just got easier. You’ll now see the local time zone option when setting up report schedules, ensuring reports are delivered based on your specific time zone for greater accuracy.
Where to view:
  • Go to Scheduled Reports to select your local time zone in the At this time dropdown.

Where to view:

Zonal-level reporting now provides insights into your shipping zones, helping you make informed decisions and reduce costs.
How it works:

The new "Zone" field is added to the Spend Summary and Shipment Details reports. You’ll find zonal data and charts like "Average Weight," "% Packages," and "Avg Zone Carrier" under the Carrier and Services tab.

Tailor surcharges with job type rules

You can now apply surcharges based on specific Job Types for more flexibility in managing mailing costs.
Where to view:

Go to the Add Surcharge screen, under the Conditions section, to update the job type.

Custom field reporting for better analysis

Custom fields are now available in your Summary reports to provide more flexible and detailed data analysis.
How it works:

Fields like Receive, Edit, Deliver, and Pouch are now available in the "View by" options of Summary reports. Custom fields are visible based on user access.

Enhanced security with user policy logs

New audit fields for user policy acceptance are now available to strengthen security and compliance.
Where to view:

The new userPolicyAcceptance fields are available in Snowflake’s Audit Logging Collection, capturing user emails, IDs, and acceptance/rejection timestamps.

Automate Your Surcharges with Advanced Conditions

Fine-tune your pricing with granular surcharge control. Apply surcharges based on specific criteria and tailor your pricing to meet your exact needs.
How it works:

Under Add Surcharge Rules, in the condition drop-down, new filters have been added. You can apply surcharges based on specific criteria like Job IDs, Carrier Surcharges, and Carrier Extra Services.

Streamlined Manual Transactions: Add Job IDs

Manual transactions just got a whole lot more flexible. Add new Job IDs on the fly and take control of your tracking.
How it works:

Under Additional Options, newly added Job IDs will be reflected directly in the transaction details. This eliminates the need to switch screens and makes tracking and analysis easier, as the new Job IDs will be visible in reports and filters.

Enhanced spend summary reporting

Users can now compare historical data by Year and Quarter in Spend Summary reports under the Sending Reports tab. You can select up to 4 columns to compare across 2 or 3 time periods.
How it works:
  1. Go to Sending Reports > Spend Summary Reports.
  2. Click the Compare drop-down and select up to 4 columns.
  3. Compare across 2 or 3 time periods.
  4. Export the report in XLS or CSV formats.

ShipAccel shipment report

The Shipment Details Report now includes filters for Delivery and Return labels. You can also view a combined report for all spend types, with a new Spend Type column added.
How it works:
  1. Go to ShipAccel and open the Shipment Details Report.
  2. Apply filters for Delivery, Return Labels, and Spend Type.
  3. View and export the combined report.
