Managing carriers in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, PitneyShip Enterprise, or ShipAccel

You can add, update, and delete carrier accounts as needed.

Adding a carrier account
In order to ship with a carrier in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, PitneyShip Enterprise, or ShipAccel, you first need to set up your carrier account in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, PitneyShip Enterprise, or ShipAccel.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select Add Carrier.
- If necessary, select More Carrier(s).
- In the Carrier Display Name field, enter a name for the account.
- From the Select Carrier menu, select the carrier you wish to add.
- Under Access Level, select which divisions and locations will have access to this account:
- Enterprise: All divisions and locations
- Division: Select the desired divisions
- Location: Select the desired locations
- Enter the required carrier account information.
- Select the box to accept the terms.
- Select Add Carrier.

Adding an international shipping carrier
Companies and organizations with offices in more than one country may need to add shipping carriers for their office locations in those countries. Usually this will be performed by a system administrator.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select Add Carrier.
- Select More Carrier(s). (You may need to scroll down to see this option.).
- From the Location Country menu, select the country of the carrier that you wish to set up. You will only see this menu if you have already set up one or more locations in a country other than the one where you reside.
- In the Carrier Display Name field, enter a name for the account.
- From the Select Carrier menu, select the carrier.
- Under Access Level, select which divisions and locations will have access to this account:
- Enterprise: All divisions and locations
- Division: Select the desired divisions
- Location: Select the desired locations
- Complete the rest of the information. Required information varies by carrier.
- Select Add Carrier.
Editing a carrier account
You can update carrier account information if needed.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select the Edit Carrier icon next to the carrier you wish to edit.
- Update the information as needed.
- Select Save or Save and Close.
Deleting a carrier account
If you no longer need a carrier account, you can delete it, provided you have sufficient Admin rights.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select the Delete Carrier icon next to the carrier you wish to delete.
- Select Delete to confirm.
Exporting carrier accounts
You can export your carrier account information if needed.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select Export.
- Save the file as directed by your web browser.
