Reserving a locker for an asset in PitneyTrack Asset and the Locker Management Module

As a mailroom administrator or locker operator, you can reserve a locker to deliver single or multiple assets to a recipient.

As a mailroom administrator or locker operator, you can reserve a locker to deliver single or multiple assets to a recipient.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. From the Asset menu, select Add, or from the Manage Assets tab, select Add asset to inventory.
  2. Scan the asset barcode, enter the Asset ID manually, or click + to generate a unique asset ID.
  3. (Optional) Enter a Description for the asset.
  4. Select the Status of the asset.
  5. Select the Event.
  6. (Optional) Enter any Comments.
  7. Select the Location.
  8. (Optional) To add photos (up to 5), select the + icon under Photo, select the photo(s), and choose Upload.
  9. Under Assigned To, select who the asset is assigned to.
  10. Select the Reserve Locker check box.
  11. Select the desired locker from the Locker Bank menu.
  12. Select the desired locker size (small, extra small, medium, large).
  13. (Optional) Add a Signature.
  14. To add more assets with the same Status, Event, Location, and Assigned To:
    1. Turn the MULTIPLE ASSETS slider on (if needed) and select Add to List.
    2. Repeat from step 2 for additional assets.
    3. To edit the Description or add photos of an individual asset, select the edit icon next to the asset you wish to update.

  15. Select Save or Save & Print.
  16. Log in at the locker, scan or enter the asset ID, then place the asset in the locker.
