Creating an exchange request for an asset in PitneyTrack Asset and the Locker Management Module

As a mailroom administrator or locker operator, you can reserve a locker to exchange assets.

As a mailroom administrator or locker operator, you can reserve a locker to exchange assets.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. Find the asset you wish to update:
    • If you know the Asset ID:
      1. From the Manage Assets tab, enter the asset ID in the Find an Asset box and press Enter.
    • If you do not know the Asset ID:
      1. From the Asset menu, select Asset List.
      2. Use the filters and search box at the top to locate the asset you wish to update.
  2. Select the arrow next to the asset you wish to edit to expand it.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Select Exchange in the Activity Type field.
  5. Enter the asset ID you want to arrange the exchange for in the Asset ID To Be Assign field.
  6. Select the person you want to deliver the replacement asset from the Drop Off Person field.
  7. Select the locker bank you want to return the asset to in the Locker Bank For Exchange field.
  8. Select the desired locker size (small, extra small, medium, large).
  9. Select Save or Save & Print.
  10. Log in at the locker, scan or enter the asset ID, place the asset in the locker then log out.
