Exchanging assets at a locker in PitneyTrack Asset and the Locker Management Module
If you want to exchange an asset you can create a exchange request and reserve a locker to store it then collect it from.
Products affected: PitneyTrack® Asset, Locker Management Module
You will receive an email advising you to pickup an asset from a locker while returning the original asset at the same time. The email contains the asset ID for you to return and the asset ID for you to pick up.
The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.
- At the locker scan or enter the asset ID to return. The locker door opens.
- Remove the new asset from the locker and replace it with the asset you are returning.
- Close the locker door and then select Done. Exchange completed appears.
- An email is sent to the mailroom operator advising them the original asset is ready for pick up.
