Setting up the TC72 / TC52 OCR scanner

Learn how to set up the TC72 / TC52 OCR scanner.

1. Unpack the box.
2. Capture the serial numbers from the back of the device.
3. Install the battery pack.
4. Connect the charging adapter and cable.
5. Turn on the device and swipe up to unlock it.
6. Connect to your Wi-Fi network.
7. Select Settings (gear icon) > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Configure the Wi-Fi connection.
8. Plug the FeasyBeacon Bluetooth USB into the PC.
9. Follow the prompts on the OCR device to sign in to Google Play and configure the device. Alternatively, go to Settings > Google > sign in to your Google Account.

Verify the Build Number and App Version

View the serial number:

• Remove the battery. The Pitney Bowes serial number and the device serial number are located on the label under the battery.

View the build version:

• Select Settings > System > About phone and scroll to the bottom to view the build number.

• The latest version for the correct build is 02-32-04.00-OG-U03-STD.

To view the App version:

• Select Settings > Apps and Notifications > OCR and scroll to the bottom to see the app version.
• The latest version for the correct app version is 1.2.
