The message "Package 1 has failed validation. Error message from PB Shipping API: 1021117 Weight is greater than the maximum for the service." occurs if the weight of the package is greater than that allowed for the selected service.

Issue
When processing a stamp or shipping label using the PB Shipping API in the Mailcenter app, the message "Package 1 has failed validation. Error message from PB Shipping API: 1021117 Weight is greater than the maximum for the service." appears.
Cause
The weight of the package is greater than that allowed for the selected service.
Resolution
Select a service that supports the weight of the item you are sending. For example, the maximum weight for a First Class package is 13 ounces, and the maximum weight for a letter is 3.5 ounces.
