Scanning orders with the Epic Systems connector in PitneyShip Enterprise
If you have the Epic Systems connector, you can use it to scan orders and print labels for them.

If you have the Epic Systems connector, you can use it to scan orders and print labels for them.
The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.
Scanning orders
- Select > Advanced Shipping.
- Scan the order barcode.
- If Immediately prompt for barcode scanning on the Advance Shipping page is not selected in the connector defaults, the barcode scanner will not automatically appear when the Advanced Shipping page is opened. Select the scan button to open it.
- You can also type or paste the barcode into the scan or type barcode field.
- If you have more than one connector, the system will remember the last one you used. To switch to the other one, click the X to close the barcode scanner, then select the menu next to the barcode field and choose the connector you wish to use.
- If Immediately prompt for barcode scanning on the Advance Shipping page is not selected in the connector defaults, the barcode scanner will not automatically appear when the Advanced Shipping page is opened. Select the scan button to open it.
- Complete any missing information in the order.
- Select Print Label.
- If the Print Options window appears, select the items you wish to print, the printer, and print size.
If you do not want the Print Options window to appear each time, uncheck Always show these options before printing. - (Optional) To print a test label, select Print Sample.
- When ready to print the label, select Print.
Viewing Epic label history
- Click > .
- Select All Shipments > Show Epic Shipments.
