Connecting your WooCommerce store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

Connecting your WooCommerce store to the PitneyShip allows you to manage data between both platforms.

Connecting your WooCommerce store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise allows you to manage data between both platforms.

Before you begin

You will need the following information from your WooCommerce account.

  • Store URL
  • Consumer Key: This requires creating an API Key on the WooCommerce site.
  • Consumer Secret: This requires creating an API Key on the WooCommerce site.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Obtaining your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret

  1. Sign in to your WooCommerce account.
  2. Follow these instructions to generate an API Key from your WooCommerce site.
    • For User, select the user/role that has access to the store.
    • For Permissions, select Read/Write access.
  3. Copy and save the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. You will need this information when you connect your store to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise.

Adding your WooCommerce account

  1. Sign in to PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise.
  2. From the Ship Orders tab, select + Add Store or + Add Integration.
  3. Select the WooCommerce icon.

  4. Enter your Store URL. Be sure to include the slash at the end of the URL.
  5. Enter the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret you recorded earlier from your WooCommerce site.
  6. Click Connect Store.
  7. (Optional) Set your default preferences for orders from this store and select Finish.
