Sending E-Certified Mail on the SendPro MailCenter
Electronic Certified (E-Certified) Mail® is a service that may be added to First Class and Priority mail.

Electronic Certified (E-Certified) Mail® is a service that may be added to First Class and Priority mail. E-Certified Mail provides proof of the date and time of delivery or attempted delivery. Return Receipt can be added to receive a physical confirmation of delivery. Electronic Return Receipt can be added to receive an electronic confirmation of delivery.
Note:
Electronic Certified and E-Return Receipts are optional features. Contact your Pitney Bowes Sales Representative for options and pricing.
- From the home screen under Mailing, select Run Mail.
- Place the mailpiece on the scale or enter the weight manually.
- Select Class.
- Select the back arrow until First Class displays.
- Select First Class.
- Select the mailpiece size.
- Select Electronic Certified.
- Enter the destination ZIP code.
- Select OK.
- Enter the tracking number from the electronic certified label.
- Select OK.
- To use the optional Return Receipt service, select Return Receipt.
- To use the optional Electronic Return Receipt service, select Electronic Return Receipt.
- Select OK.
- Run the mailpiece through the meter.
- Affix the top portion of the E-Certified mail label to the top of the envelope to the left of the postage, inscription, and meter ad.
Once you are finished running Electronic Certified mail, upload your transactions:
- Select Home to go to the home screen.
- Select Funds.
- Select Meter Information.
- Select Upload Postal information now.
