Changing IntelliLink Desktop settings

You can change how IntelliLink Desktop manages the downloading of updates.

You can change how IntelliLink Desktop manages the downloading of updates.

  1. Double-click on the IntelliLink Desktop icon, or right-click on it and select Open IntelliLink Desktop.

  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Select how you wish to download updates:
    • Automatically download updates as soon as they are available (Default)
    • Automatically download updates starting at a specific time
    • Notify me when an update is available, but let me initiate the download
  4. To change the download destination for updates, select the Browse button and select the download location.
  5. If your system uses a proxy to reach the internet, enter the settings under Change Proxy settings. Contact your IT department to obtain the details.
  6. If you wish to receive email notifications when updates are available for download, enter your email address.
    • You may enter more than one email address.
    • Email addresses will only be used to notify you of updates.
