Managing product email notifications for digitally connected meters and devices
If your meter is connected with a SmartLink™ device or has built-in connectivity, you can receive automated emails when its ink level is low, its funds are low, or it experiences an error .
Products affected:
SendPro® C Lite, SendPro® C, SendPro®+, SendPro® C Auto (8H00, 9H00)
mailstation™, mailstation2™, DM100®i, DM125™, DM200L™ DM225™ when connected via SmartLink™
SendPro® C Lite, SendPro® C, SendPro®+, SendPro® C Auto (8H00, 9H00)

Alert: The USPS has discontinued all IBI meter technology, and many devices must be returned and withdrawn from service by the end of 2024. If your device is affected, new business rules will disrupt your mailing operation. Check Your Account to see if your device is affected and contact your Account Representative to migrate to a compliant solution.
If your meter is connected with a SmartLink™ device or has built-in connectivity, you can receive automated emails when:
- Its ink level is low
- Its funds are low
- There is an error
Devices that have connectivity built in are:
- DM 475™
- SendPro® C (C200, C300, C400, C425)
- SendPro® Auto
- SendPro® C Mailstation
- SendPro® P-Series | Connect+ ® Series
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- If prompted, select the Your Account business portal, otherwise, you will be directed to your Your Account dashboard.
- Click Your Account, then select Email Notifications.
- Click SmartLink™ Meter Alerts.
- Toggle the switches to select the notifications you wish to receive:
- Select Low Ink Level to advise when your device is low on ink.
- Select Meter Funds Low to advise if the funds on the device drop below the set amount.
- Select Meter Error to advise about device errors.
- Your changes are automatically saved.
If a mailstation™, mailstation2™, DM100®i, DM125™, DM200L™, or DM225™ is not connected through a SmartLink™ device, the Manage notifications option will not be available.
