W1110 (1E40, 1E35, 1E41, or 1E45) label printer feeds incorrect label size when printing a label in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, and PitneyShip Enterprise
If a Datamax W1110 label printer feeds incorrect label size when printing a label, the printer may need to be calibrated.
Products affected: PitneyShip®, PitneyShip® Pro, PitneyShip® Enterprise, W1110 (1E40, 1E35, 1E41, 1E45) label printer
Issue
When printing a shipping label, a W1110 printer feeds more than one label's worth of paper.
Cause
The printer may need to be recalibrated.
Resolution
Solution 1: Restart the printer
- Turn the printer off.
- Wait 1 minute.
- Turn the printer back on.
If the issue is not resolved, try solution 2.
Solution 2: Calibrate the printer
- Open the printer’s top cover and feed the label so that it is ¼ inch out of the printer.
- Press and hold the Stop/Resume and the Feed/Cancel buttons simultaneously just until the rollers begin to move the labels. Immediately release both buttons when the label roll begins to move. The roll should advance one label and the left LED should be solid green.
