Wes Kirschner

Wes Kirschner is Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Security, serving as Chief Information Security Officer supporting the Pitney Bowes enterprise.
Wes has a long history at Pitney Bowes. After spending many years as a developer and architect on postage meter teams, Wes led an embedded software organization that was responsible for requirements, architecture, and motion control for mailing systems. Wes founded the Product Security organization which was responsible for ensuring security in the software development cycle, assisting teams that worked on security features, deploying tools that secured products, and meeting evolving client security needs. At the same time, Wes had engineering leadership roles in Shipping, Financial Technology, Technical Operations, and SAAS (Software as a Service) products. Wes holds over 30 patents in mailing and security.
Wes has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Quinnipiac University. Wes obtained his PMP (Project Management Professional Certification) in 2010, his CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification in 2013 and Six Sigma Black Belt in 2023.
