Running a route using the PitneyTrack mobile app
Once a route is defined, it can be run using the PitneyTrack mobile app.

Once a route is defined, it can be run using the PitneyTrack mobile app.
- On the mobile device, open the PitneyTrack mobile app,
- If prompted, select your Location.
- Tap Begin Route.
- Tap on the route you wish to run.
- Select Yes to begin the route. The route timing starts when you tap Yes.
- Scan or tap in the Scan/Select Stop field to select the first stop:
- If Enforce route stop barcode scan is enabled for this route, you will need to scan the route stop barcode at each stop. Tap the Scan icon and scan the barcode of the first stop.
- Otherwise, if Enforce route stop barcode scan is not enabled for this route, tap the Scan/Select Stop field and select the first stop.
- If Enforce route stop barcode scan is enabled for this route, you will need to scan the route stop barcode at each stop. Tap the Scan icon and scan the barcode of the first stop.
- Delivery or receive packages as needed:
- Scan or enter the tracking number of the first package and enter or update the package details as needed.
- (Optional) If signatures are enabled, tap either Get Signature or Get Delivery Proof and have the recipient sign in the box.
- Tap Save.
- Repeat for all packages at this stop.
- Tap the 3 dots in the upper right and select Stops > End current stop.
- You can end the stop either before or after you go to the next stop.
- If you do not end the current stop, it will remain in the list of pending stops.
- Select the next stop.
- Repeat from step 5 for each stop on the route.
- When finished with all stops on the route, tap the 3 dots in the upper right and select End Route. Both the route and the current stop will be ended.
