Creating Package Hold Alerts in PitneyTrack Enterprise

You can create Package Hold alerts for recipients so that packages can be held and not delivered until a later date. This is useful if the recipient is out of the office, for example.

You can create Package Hold alerts for recipients so that packages can be held and not delivered until a later date. This is useful if the recipient is out of the office, for example.

  1. Select Settings > Special Package Handling.
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Set the status to Active or Inactive to enable or disable the alert.
  4. Select Package Hold from the Select Type field.
  5. Select the recipient who needs the package to be held from the Recipient field.
  6. (Optional) Enter an alert name or reason.
  7. (Optional) Select the Don’t send delivery-related notifications to the original recipient check box to disable email notifications being sent to the recipient.
  8. (Optional) Select the Scheduled Timeframe check box to specify start and stop dates for the alert:
    1. Under Start Date, select the calendar icon and choose the start date.
    2. Under End Date, select the calendar icon and choose the end date.
  9. Select Save and Close or Save and add another.
