Forwarding packages in PitneyTrack Enterprise

You can create Package Forwarding alerts for recipients so that packages of one recipient can be forwarded to another recipient for a selected duration.

You can create Package Forwarding alerts for recipients so that packages of one recipient can be forwarded to another recipient for a selected duration.

  1. Select Settings > Special Package Handling.
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Set the status to Active or Inactive to enable or disable the alert.
  4. Select Package Forwarding from the Select Type field.
  5. Select the original recipient who needs the package to be forwarded from the Recipient field.
  6. Select a person to receive packages on behalf of the recipient from the Forward To field. All packages and delivery-related notifications during the selected time frame will be forwarded to the selected recipient. If the person selected has an email-ID then the email ID will automatically populate in the email address field.
  7. (Optional) Enter an alert name or reason.
  8. (Optional) Select the Don’t send delivery-related notifications to the original recipient check box to disable email notifications being sent to the original recipient.
  9. (Optional) Select the Scheduled Timeframe check box to specify start and stop dates for the alert:
    1. Under Start Date, select the calendar icon and choose the start date.
    2. Under End Date, select the calendar icon and choose the end date.
  10. Select Save and Close or Save and add another.
