Setting up pouch settings in PitneyTrack Inbound

These settings define how you want to set the pouch delivery status, select which details from the pouch you want to copy to the packages inside and if you want to generate multiple tracking numbers for pouches.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Pouch Delivery Status

1. Select Settings > Pouch.
2. If necessary, select your Site.
3. Under Choose from the below delivery status option, select the ON/OFF switch as needed:
   • ON: Sets the status of pouches to Delivered when the final package in the pouch is delivered
   • OFF: Leaves the status of pouches as is when the final package in the pouch is delivered (does not change the status to Delivered)

Copy Pouch Details

1. Select Settings > Pouch.
2. Under Copy pouch details to packages inside, select the menu if you want to choose which details you want to include as a default for the packages in pouches. You can change these settings while you're processing the packages in the pouch receive, edit or deliver screens.
3. Select Save to confirm.

Pouch Tracking Numbers

1. Under Generate Multiple Tracking Numbers, select the ON/OFF switch as needed:
   • ON: Adds a sequence suffix to the pouch ID. For example, Pouch1234 becomes Pouch1234-1, Pouch1234-2 etc.
   • OFF: Turns the status off and does not generate multiple tracking numbers for pouches.
