Learning about DeviceHub
DeviceHub is a program that connects your printers and scales to PitneyShip Pro. DeviceHub is required for printing stamp labels and envelopes.
The features and options you see may vary depending upon your permissions. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.
Prerequisites
- Prior to installing DeviceHub, it is recommended that you download and install the latest drivers for any printers that will be connecting through DeviceHub from the printer manufacturer’s website.
- Ensure that you have the latest version of Windows or MacOS installed on your system.
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 will be installed as part of the DeviceHub installation.
Note: DeviceHub does not support silent installation using .exe or .msi.

- Windows 10 or higher

MacOS Monterey validated through 12.5
MacOS Ventura validated through 13.2.1
Important: Pitney Bowes Device hub is currently supporting only the below Printers, Scale and OCR.

- HP Printers (HP Office Jet Pro 9010 series, Officejet Pro 6970, Officejet Pro 6970, Deskjet 1000, ENVY 4527, Envy 5010, ENVY 4527)
- JZ20 Printer
- Samsung Printer (M332x 382x 402x Series)
- SHARP Printers (Model: MX-3640N PCL6)
- SL 22 (Datamax Mark III)

Unsupported Printers With Pitney Bowes Device Hub
Certain printers and configurations are not currently supported when printing via Pitney Bowes Devicehub.
Pitney Bowes cannot troubleshoot issues that occur when using these printers with Pitney Bowes Devicehub:
- Wireless and network printers. Printers should be connected to the printer workstation(s) via USB, though some wireless or network printers may work.
- Rollo label printers.
- Epson, Dell and Bluetooth Printers.
