Downloading an envelope message on the DM60

This article shows how to download an Envelope Message, also known as an Ad, onto your franking machine and select it for printing.

Before you begin, ensure you connect your franking machine via a SmartLink™ device, Communication Device or PC Meter Connect in order to communicate with the Pitney Bowes Data Centre.

1. Press Funds.
2. Press Review (down) until Check Balance Available? appears. Press Enter/yes.
3. The franking machine connects to the server. Once the Prepaid balance appears, press Enter/yes.
4. Press No when Refill Postage? appears.
5. If there is an update available, Software Update required please wait appears. Press Enter/yes and follow the prompts to download the update. If no updates are available the franking machine is already up to date.
