Envelope feeding maintenance on the Connect+ 3000, SendPro P3000
If you experience envelope stoppage on your system, follow the steps here to clear the stoppage and perform the recommended maintenance operations to prevent further stoppages.

Lift the (a) feed cover and the (b) printer cover and locate the jammed mailpiece(c).

Prepare the envelopes for the feed deck.

Pull the top release lever up and to the left.

Lift up on the lower release lever with one hand and remove the envelope with the other.

Lift up the (a) W-O-W transport release lever and the (b) printer transport release lever and remove any envelopes from the (c) W-O-W and (d) printer decks.

Examine the sealer roller for dirt and debris.

Fill a water-spray bottle and spray water on a lint free cloth.

Wipe any dirt or debris off the sealer roller and feed deck. Close the top release lever and lock it in place.

Spray water on a fresh lint-free cloth.

Clean the (a) printer entrance roller and the (b) W-O-W and (c) printer decks.

Close the (a) W-O-W transport release lever and the (b) printer transport lever.

Set the thickness adjustment knob.

For mail pieces that are greater than or equal to 12.7 mm thick, but less than 19 mm thick, use a setting of 3.

For postcards and mail pieces that are 0.18 mm to 9.5 mm thick, use a setting of 1.
- For mail pieces that are greater than or equal 6.35 mm thick, but less than 12.7 mm thick, use a setting of 2 (not shown).
- For mail pieces that are greater than or equal to 12.7 mm thick, but less than 19 mm thick, use a setting of 4 (not shown).

- Close the feed and printer covers.

Adjust the (a) side guide on the feeder deck to accommodate the width of the envelope. The space between the envelope and side guide should be approximately (b) 1.6 mm.

Prepare the envelopes for the feed deck.
- Make sure all the envelopes are the same size for a mail run.

Align the stack of envelopes by tapping the stack on a flat surface.

Fan the envelope stack.

Shingle the stack (slant as shown).

Place the stack on the feed deck with the envelope flaps down and against the rear wall. Make sure the stack is not too high.
