Enterprise Designer Mappings for GCM and GGM

The GeoComplete Module has been deprecated and removed from the product. The same functionality is available in the Global Geocoding Module. If you have dataflows for GCM, see the input address and preferences tables below to transition them to GGM.

Table 1. Input Address Mappings
GeoComplete Module Global Geocoding Module Description
AddressLine1 MainAddressLine Single line input address
StateProvince AreaName1 State or province
City AreaName3 City to search. Combine with AddressLine1 to return candidates in your targeted area.
PostalCode PostCode1 Postal code
Country Country ISO 3-character country code or name of country. No direct mapping in GGM to search for all countries.
OriginLatitude OriginX X coordinate of origin.
OriginLongitude OriginY Y coordinate of origin.

The type of search to perform. You must have licensed and installed POI data to search for and return candidates.

FindNearest POI is not supported in GGM.

Not supported Administrative Area Search A search-limiting administrative boundary, such as a postal code area. Optional.
Match On Address Number Match on Address Number Match to an address number. Optional.
Search Distance Search Distance Specifies the distance (radius) to search for candidates from the given origin. This distance is also used as a search distance restriction.
Distance from Origin Search Distance text box The extent of the search area as the maximum distance from the X/Y origin.
Distance Unit
  • KILOMETERS
  • MILES
  • METERS
  • FEET
Distance units pick list
  • Feet
  • Kilometers
  • Meters
  • Miles
Distance units for the search distance.
Coordinate System Coordinate System Coordinate system to use. Currently supported EPSG:4326.
No Restrictions (search) Add/User database restriction
  • Search all datasests (default)
  • Search address datasets
  • Search user datasets only
Dataset search.

  • Prefer User Dictionary
  • Prefer Standard Dictionary
Dataset match preference
  • No Preference (default)
  • Prefer address dictionary match

When Add/user database restriction is set to Search all datasets, you can then set a preference for a country's standard address dictionary or user dictionary.
Order Installed Database Resources Not supported Order in which datasets are searched. Default is the order in which they were loaded.
Not supported Return all available information Return all available information available information for a candidate. Optional.
Max Candidates Max results to be returned

Default is 5.

Maximum number of candidates to return (1 - 100). Or specify -1 to return the maximum allowable number of candidates (100).
Within Bounding Box Not supported as a preference. See OriginX, OriginY as input fields. Limits the search to the coordinates of the bounding box
Upper right longitude field Not supported as a preference. See OriginX, OriginY as input fields. The coordinate defining the eastern boundary of the bounding box.
Lower left longitude field Not supported as a preference. See OriginX, OriginY as input fields. The coordinate defining the northern boundary of the bounding box.
Upper right latitude field Not supported as a preference. See OriginX, OriginY as input fields. The coordinate defining the southern boundary of the bounding box.
Lower left latitude field Not supported as a preference. See OriginX, OriginY as input fields. The coordinate defining the western boundary of the bounding box.
