Metadata Insights

With the Business Glossary module added to Metadata Insights, you can now build and manage a list of glossary entities that can be used across the organization. The module comes with a set of domain-specific entities that you can import and use as template.

It also has a list of pre-defined semantic types, such as semantic type representing credit card, country, city, and state.

Metadata Insight now comes integrated with Discovery module, which gives you a unified view of all your configured connections. Use this module to discover assets in your connections and create a catalogue of relevant assets.

Metadata Insights now provides you automated suggestions to map your logical entity attributes with physical data residing across multiple connections and data bases. The feature matches your entity attributes with the discovered assets, and suggests options based on the names and semantic types of the assets, the closest match being displayed first.

You can now view and choose to select suggestions generated for your data based on the profiling results. These suggestive actions help in improving the quality of your data and can be consumed through groovy scripts in the Transformer Stage of Enterprise Designer.
