Installation

1. Download your database(s). The database is downloaded as a .tar.bz2 file.

2. Extract the .tar.bz2 file.

3. Extract the .tar file.
Note: Population by Hispanic/Non-Hispanic data is provided as 4 data packages: Census 2010 (2k) dataset (groundview_population_by_hispanic_nonhispanic_2k.7z), Five-year (5y) projections dataset (groundview_population_by_hispanic_nonhispanic_5y.7z), Census 2010 dataset (by) (groundview_population_by_hispanic_nonhispanic_by.7z), and Current year (cy) estimates dataset (groundview_population_by_hispanic_nonhispanic_cy.7z). Refer GroundView®: Population by Hispanic/Non-Hispanic for more details.

4. Copy the data to any directory. Note the file name and path.

Note: You may install databases on a mapped drive, but performance will be affected since you will be accessing them on a network rather than accessing them locally.

5. After you install the database files, you will need to define the database as a resource.
