Upgrading Spectrum Visual Insights™

The installation of upgrades to theSpectrum Visual Insights™ module does not require manual reconfiguration of the repository. It is handled automatically during the upgrade process. Any attempt to reconfigure the repository manually might corrupt it.
Note: This does not include the database updates.
Note: Before starting the upgrade process, ensure that the database where the Spectrum Visual Insights™ repository is installed is up and running.
  1. Stop the Spectrum™ Technology Platform server. To stop the server, right-click the Spectrum™ Technology Platform icon in the Windows system tray and select Stop Server.
  2. Upgrade the Spectrum™ Technology Platform server and the Spectrum Visual Insights™ module to the required version.
    Note: The repository gets reconfigured automatically and the updated svi.war file is placed at: <Spectrum installation directory>/server/app/deploy.
  3. Start the Spectrum™ Technology Platform server.
  4. When the server starts, you can access the Spectrum Visual Insights™ module using the URL construct: <server>:<port>/svi.
