Business Steward Module

The Business Steward Module now supports best of breed processing, which enables you to resolve duplicate exception records using best of breed records. Best of breed records are copied from within a group and used instead of the duplicates for processing. The new Allow user to create Best of Breed records in Portal option in Write Exceptions works in conjunction with the Add Best of Breed record Resolve Duplicates option in the Business Steward Portal Exception Editor. Note that the Write Exceptions option is available only for grouped exception records that are generated from a matching job. Also, if you choose to use this feature, a best of breed record must be created for each collection within a group before you can approve all the records within that group.

The Dashboard of the Business Steward Portal now shows exception record approval progress by stage in addition to the progress by dataflow.

You can now drag and drop the contents of one cell to another if the data type is the same in both cells (i.e., you can't drag the contents of a numeric field into a text field).

The Manage page of the Business Steward Portal now shows the number of non-exception records that exist within groups that also contain exception records. This information will appear only when exception records also exist in the group and there are no security overrides preventing this data from being shown.

Also, for dataflows containing more than one Exception Monitor stage, you can further break down activity for each of those stages.

When viewing trends on the Data Quality page of the Business Steward Portal, you can now filter by dataflow and stage as well as by data domain and quality metric.
