The server is now supported on Windows Server 2016.

If you have integrated Spectrum™ Technology Platform with LDAP, you can now specify multiple LDAP attributes to use to assign roles to a user. In prior releases you could only use one attribute to assign roles to a user.

If you are using LDAP for authentication, in prior releases you had to create roles in Spectrum™ Technology Platform that matched the attribute values in LDAP. Since these attribute values can be quite long, it was inconvenient to have to recreate them in Management Console. With this release, you can map LDAP attribute values to Spectrum™ Technology Platform roles, so you no longer need to have matching LDAP attributes values and Spectrum™ Technology Platform role names.

The ManagementAPI web service, which returns license and version information about your server, has been deprecated and will be removed in a future version. If you use the ManagementAPI web service, we recommend that you start using the Administration Utility to get license and version information about your Spectrum™ Technology Platform server. The Administration Utility is a command-line tool that you can run interactively or through a script.

You can download the Administration Utility from your Spectrum™ Technology Platform landing page:

Where SpectrumServer is the host name or IP address of your Spectrum™ Technology Platform server and HTTPPort is the port used for HTTP communication, which by default is 8080.

The ports used by Spectrum™ Technology Platform have changed in this release. These ports are now used by default:

• 5001
• 6362
• 7474
• 7687
• 9300 (Only if you use the Advanced Matching Module)
• 9200 (Only if you use the Advanced Matching Module)

These ports are no longer used:

• 2424-2430
• 2434
• 2480-2486
