An Application Link-out allows you to start an external application from Spectrum Spatial Analyst . It allows you to open query results in supported external application. The Spectrum Spatial Analyst is configured to pass a description of the current selection set in XML format to the external application. If capable, the external application can synchronize its own selection set based on the selection description to provide a seamless work-flow between applications.
