Managing presets in PitneyShip Pro

Presets save shipment information so that it can be used as a template for printing additional labels in the future with the same carrier, packaging, weight, dimensions, shipping services, cost account, recipient address, or sender address.

Presets save shipment information so that it can be used as a template for printing additional labels in the future. Presets can contain the carrier, packaging, weight, dimensions, shipping services, international shipment details, cost accounts, bill to information, recipient address, and sender address.  You can create a preset from the Presets screen or from the shipping label screen.

Creating a preset from the Presets screen

  1. Select Shipping > Shipping Presets.
  2. Select Create New Preset.
  3. Enter a name for the preset in the Preset Name field.
  4. If you wish to save the recipient address as part of the preset, select Include Recipient Address in Preset, then select or enter the address.
  5. Select the package type and enter the weight and dimensions.
  6. (Optional) Select Select Rates and Services.
  7. Select the desired service and extra services.
  8. Select Choose Service.
  9. (Optional) Select a Cost Account.
  10. Select Save Preset.

Creating a preset from the shipping label screen

You can also add a new preset while creating a shipping label.

  1. When creating a shipping label, once the package information has been selected, select Save as Preset.

  2. Enter a name for the preset.
  3. If you wish to save the recipient address as part of the preset, select Include Recipient Address.
  4. Select OK.

Editing a preset

If you need to change the settings or name of a preset, you can edit it.

  1. Select Shipping > Shipping Presets.
  2. Select the edit icon for the preset you wish to edit.

  3. Make the desired changes and select Save Changes.

Deleting a preset

If you no longer need a preset, you can delete it.

  1. Select Shipping > Shipping Presets.
  2. Select the delete icon for the desired preset.

  3. Select Delete to confirm.
