To create a Ranged thematic map, follow the steps given below:
Option | Description |

Interval | Select interval. It ranges from 2 to 16. |
Method | Select to create ranges automatically using any one of the following
methods. You can select from:

Border > Style | Select the border style from the list. This option is available with polygon and line geometries only. |
Border > Color | Select the border color from color palette. This option is available with polygon geometries only. |
Border > Width | Select the size for border. This option is available with polygon and line geometries only. |
Fill > Start Color | Select the start color of the range. The start color is same for all the map geometries. |
Fill > Pattern | Select the pattern from the list. This option is available with polygon geometries only. |
Fill > End Color | Select the end color of the range. The end color is same for all the map geometries. |
Image > Icon | Select the image icon from the drop-down list. This option is available with point geometries only. |
Image > Size | Select the size of image icon. This option is available with point geometries only. |
Once a thematic map is created, you can further edit or delete it from Map Legend. For more information, refer to Editing a Thematic Map and Deleting a Thematic Map.
