The MapInfo Stratus Uploader is a tool that allows you to upload a map definition and the tables it uses from MapInfo Professional into MapInfo Stratus. As well as holding the names of the tables, the map definition can also be used to apply style overrides and ranged, or individual value thematic definitions that have been created in MapInfo Professional.
A map definition is the same in concept as a MapInfo Professional Map Workspace, or a MapX geoset. For MapInfo Stratus, you only need to create map definitions for different themes of overlay mapping. Your base mapping is pre-loaded into the application and therefore it is not necessary to upload this data, or to create base mapping definitions.
