The Map Uploader supports the ability to upload the following Table types:
- Native vector TAB files
- Live and Linked tables to RDBMS (ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle)
- WFS Tables
- FME Tables (using any of the supported vector universal data types such as KML
etc)
- Access tables (MS Access)
- ASCII tables (CSV or TXT)
- DBF tables
- ODBC (ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle)
- ESRI Shape File tabks
- XLS (Excel File)
The table must already be loaded into MapInfo Professional and have a corresponding "TAB"
file associated with it.
If the Table type is not a Native vector TAB file, the uploader will temporarily save a copy of
the table as a native TAB file for uploading and will then delete it again.
Note: The command line uploader ONLY supports Native TAB files. The ability to save a
table from one of the above formats into native TAB is not present in the command
line
uploader.
Seamless Tables (Vector or Raster), View and Result tables, Raster Tables and any tables based on image services such as WMS, Tile Services or Bing Maps are NOT supported for uploaded.
