12.0 S12 The product update contains software changes that are necessary due to a change in how international data is installed, beginning with the EGM Q2 2017 data update. This product update must be applied to EGM prior to installing the data contained in the data update. Additionally, there is a product update for the command line interface (CLI) tool called Administration Utility.

  • Windows:
12.0 S29 This update fixes an issue with geocoding options for EGM Global on older releases of Spectrum Technology Platform, including 12.0, 11.1, 11.0, 10.1 and 10.0. This patch is required in order to use Q3 data or later. Install the patch first before you load and configure the Q3 datasets.

12.0 S25 This product update fixes two issues:
  • The LatLong.MatchCode and LatLong.MatchLevel return fields are blank when a multimatch address is found.

Location Intelligence Module

Update Number Description Download Release Notes
12.0 S02

This product update addresses these issues:

  • When running a WFS 2.0.0 or 2.0.2 GetFeature operation without specifying a maximum feature count, a connection leak was occurring that eventually exhausted the connection pool. This issue has been fixed in this product update.
  • Spectrum Spatial was not always rendering MRR raster map tiles correctly. The number of grid cells in adjacent tiles could be different, resulting in different cell size and incorrect visual alignment of cells when viewed at high zoom levels. MRR now renders the same in Spectrum Spatial as it does in MapInfo Pro. There is also no longer any distortion seen at tile edges at higher zoom levels with cubic spline interpolation, positive gutter value, or positive pad value.

  • Linux/Unix:
  • Windows:
12.0 S08

This product update addresses these issues:

  • Queries with geometry join operations (such as "contains") did not return the correct results when the order of tables in the FROM portion of the SELECT statement was changed. If the order of the tables in the FROM clause was reversed, then the operation was incorrectly evaluated with reversed operands. This has been fixed in this update.
  • An incorrect translation in the Spatial Calculator stage of the Enterprise Designer was reported for Japanese. This has been fixed in this update.
  • The limrepo import command in the Administration Utility could not import a configuration when the source folder in the file path started with the character "n," "r," or "t." This command now works for source folder names that start with these characters.
  • The limrepo mwsimport command in the Administration Utility did not work for data that was located on a Linux server (a file path not found error was thrown). As a result, the mws file was not imported to the repository. The same issue was also occurring when the server and client are using different operating systems (one on Linux, the other on Windows). This issue has been fixed in this update.
  • Searching strings within named resources did not work reliably on Linux and Unix machines because the mime type for the resources was text/xml. The mime type for new named resources is now application/xml. The mime type for existing named resources will be automatically changed upon upgrade.
  • Linux/Unix:
  • Windows:
12.0 S22 This product update fixes two issues:
  • The Map Uploader utility does not copy legend text labels to the Spatial repository.
  • Spectrum Spatial is not able to recognize dynamically assigned roles and apply access control lists (ACLs) accordingly.
  • Linux/Unix:
  • Windows:
12.0 S30 This product update resolves an issue with the Location Intelligence Module where a named table without an "Owner" parameter in the definition throws an exception with Oracle. It also resolves two issues with certain types of queries for view tables, as well as a performance issue with loading maps in environments where the Spectrum Technology Platform is configured to use an LDAP server for authentication.
  • Linux/Unix:
  • Windows:
12.0 S34 This Location Intelligence Module update fixes an issue that was breaking the backward compatibility in the Spectrum Technology Platform release of 12.0. The GeoJSON response for the REST version of the Feature Service now contains the bounding box (bbox) attribute, which restores the backward compatibility.
  • Linux/Unix:
  • Windows:
12.0 S36 This Location Intelligence Module update fixes an issue where the server takes a long time to restart after it becomes non-responsive. The issue was related to removal of invalid secured entities at the server startup. This update is dependent on Spectrum Technology Platform 12.0 S37 update. Both the updates have to be applied together.
