Secured Entity Types - Data Federation Module
An entity type is a category of items to which you want to grant or deny access. For example, the entity type called "Baseview" controls permissions for all Baseviews in the Data Federation Module.
Note: The Spectrum Data Federation entity types apply to only the Data Federation Module.
The Data Federation entity types are:
- Baseview
- Controls access to all Baseviews in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Amazon DynamoDB
- Controls access to all Amazon DynamoDB connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Amazon SimpleDB
- Controls access to all Amazon SimpleDB connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Apache Cassandra
- Controls access to all Apache Cassandra connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Flat File
- Controls access to all Flat File connections, whether Fixed Width or Delimited, created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Marketo
- Controls access to all Marketo connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - MS Dynamics CRM
- Controls access to all MS Dynamics CRM Online connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - NetSuite
- Controls access to all NetSuite connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Salesforce
- Controls access to all Salesforce connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - SAP
- Controls access to all SAP NetWeaver connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - Splunk
- Controls access to all Splunk connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - SuccessFactors
- Controls access to all SuccessFactors connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Datasource - SugarCRM On-Demand
- Controls access to all SugarCRM On-Demand connections created in the Data Federation Module.
- Metaview
- Controls access to all Metaviews created in the Data Federation Module.
- Virtual Data Source
- Controls access to all the Virtual Data Sources created in the Data Federation Module.
Note: In the Data Federation Module, for any role, the 'Execute' right can be provided to
access the Virtual Data Source entity type only.
