How to get an Accurate Answer with the First Search
The Pitney Bowes Knowledgebase is designed to answer questions that are worded in plain, conversational English. So you can type your question exactly as you would speak it! The Knowledgebase will automatically find answers on our web site.
Here are some tips and guidelines about asking questions and getting the best answers:
- Enter complete questions in your own words. For example: How do I add postage to my E700 meter?
- Be specific. Use product names or numbers to get the most precise results. For example: Does the PostPerfect meter have a scale?
- Make your question concise. Complex or multiple part questions are not as effective. For example: How can I purchase ink on-line?
- Use correct spelling and grammar to get the most accurate answers. Correct capitalization is not required, but can sometimes help to locate names and acronyms.
- Filter the search results by topic on the left navigation bar. Asking a new question with a topic selected, your search is narrowed to just that topic. Deselecting the topic will broaden your search results again.
