What types of tracking and USPS confirmation services are available with my meter?
With your meter you can use many features including insured mail, COD, registered mail, return receipt for merchandise, merchandise return, and special handling.
To add a service:
Weigh the mail piece on the scale.
Select the mail class (example; Priority.) After mail class selection the screen will display any Confirmation Service that can be added.
Select the service required by pressing the page down button (example; E-Del Con) and note that a check mark appears. Press Yes/Enter. and the system automatically calculates the correct postage.
Type in the 5-digit destination ZIP code. Press Yes/Enter.
Use the correct label for the service. If the display shows the next number in the barcode sequence, press Yes/Enter to accept it or type in the last 12-digits of the barcode number from the label being used and press Yes/Enter.
Apply the barcode label to the mail piece. Press Yes/Enter.
Print the postage on an the envelope or a tape.
For more mail pieces, follow the prompts on the display.
To transfer files, press Yes/Enter to upload records. If No is selected the system will prompt you to send records when the memory is full.
