My Bills- How to View Payment Details and Cancel Pending Payments

 

The My Payments screen summarizes all payments that have been made with your My Bills profile. From this page, you can view the date the payment was made, the type of invoice paid, the Pitney Bowes account number that the invoice was associated with, the payment amount, payment type, confirmation number, and status.

The following status types appear on this screen:

  • Pending:  A payment, either automatic or made prior to system processing, is waiting to be processed.  Only Pending payments can be canceled
  • Processed:  A payment has been captured and sent to post on your account
  • Canceled:  A payment was canceled by you
  • Failed:  A payment did not process.  This could be due to an error with the Payment Account. Contact your financial institution or credit card company for further assistance


By clicking on the Billing Date, you can see the details for a particular payment, including the invoice number and the Payment Account type that was used.

Canceling a Pending Payment:

Payments can only be canceled if the payment status shows Pending.  A payment cannot be canceled if it has already been processed and shows a Paid status.  If you can not select a payment using the checkbox, the payment can not be canceled.

Click on View and Pay Bills

Click on My Payments

Check the box of the pending payment you want to cancel
 

4 Select Cancel Payment
