What does the "rates pending" message mean?

When there is a carrier rate change (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.), we will provide updated software for you to download approximately two (2) weeks prior to the carrier's rate change effective date.  When new rates are available, the “Rates Pending” message will appear in your update tab.

You may download these new carrier rates at any time.  They will not become active until the effective date.
