Do you have to keep a minimum dollar amount in the Reserve Account?
There is no minimum dollar amount requirement for a Reserve Account (FDIC Insured).
What period of time does my meter rental bill cover?
The standard Pitney Bowes rental contract states that a meter rental is billed quarterly, in advance. Please review your contract for details.  
Can I use a credit card to make an online payment for Purchase Power?
  We are only able to accept online payments from a checking or savings account at this time.    
Can I access my Postage By Phone account on the same day I apply for my password?
Yes. Access to your account is instant as long as you provide all the necessary information on the application.
Can I use my credit card only for postage, and not for rental equipment?
No. At this time, if you are on credit card payments, both the rental and postage charges must be applied to it.
Why is the account balance on my Personal PostTM Postage Meter displaying more postage than the amount I added?
Pitney Bowes automatically extends a line of credit that shows up in your account balance.
Can I own a postage meter?
Current U.S. Federal regulations require that all postage meter manufacturers retain ownership of the meter. Therefore, a company or individual cannot own a postage meter but it can be rented or included in a lease.
How do I use the website to add funds to my meter?
For instructions on adding funds to your meter using the web please click the following link and select your meter type.
When I reset my meter online I did not write down the setting combination number. How can I get this number again?
For security purposes the setting numbers are not stored on our website.  To obtain your setting combination number again call Postage by Phone at 1-800-243-7800 and select Option 0 to speak with a representative.
What do I have to do if I move my meter to a new address?
Any time you move to a new address notify Pitney Bowes at 1-800-522-0020 immediately. If you move out of your local ZIP Code area  the meter must be updated to the new Zip Code.
