Check the following if your meter fails to power up. Turn the key on the right side to the vertical (across) position. Make sure the power cord is in the meter and in a working outlet. Test to make sure the outlet has power by plugging in another appliance.

The meter has detected an incorrect date. You must manually change the date daily on this meter.   To check the date setting: STEP ACTION

Follow these instructions to obtain the correct settings and then re-apply for your online account.  Obtain the readings:

To turn the date off on the 69xx series meter, raise the thin blue lever under the dater door.
