What to do if your mailstation/mailstation2 is not printing clearly

 To fix a printing problem by cleaning the printer nozzles:

Press Menu

Scroll and select Use ink functions?

Scroll and select Clean printer nozzles?   The message Preparing ink Please wait... appears as your meter performs its cleaning

When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet into your meter

When the prompt Is test pattern OK? appears, press Enter/ Yes.  If the printing did not improve, repeat maintenance up to 3 times

  • If the lines are clearing, print is okay
  • If the lines are the same or getting worse, change the ink cartridge and perform the maintenance again
