Waste Tray (Tank) Full or Waste Tray (Tank) Near Full Messages on the mailstation and mailstation2

Products affected: mailstation™ (K700), mailstation2™ (K7M0)

System Message:

Waste Tray (Tank) Nearly Full or Waste Tray (Tank) Full

What it Means:

Your meter will display a message when its waste tray (also called a waste tank) has neared capacity. Once your waste tray is actually full, your meter will have to be replaced. This can be avoided by replacing your waste tray as soon as the warning message appears.

Sometimes the waste tray full message displays prematurely. You can visually check  the tray to make sure it is not fully saturated. If it is full, you can follow these steps to replace it. This procedure is only for the system message "waste tray/waste tank NEAR full."  You must request service when your waste tray is full.

Before you start:

You will need: Caution:
  • Ink Waste Tray Replacement Kit (part number K790002). Call the supply line to order: 1.800.243.7824
  • Code to enter after installation: ..57 (period, period, 5, 7)
  • Protect your workspace, clothes and skin. You will need latex gloves and cover cloths.
