How to Change the Batteries in the Personal Post E700 Series Postage Meter

To change the batteries:
Note: Be sure that the meter remains plugged into an electrical outlet while changing the batteries
  • Lift the meter cover
  • Remove the blue battery cover located toward the back of the meter
  • Remove old batteries
     
Tip: Using a pen may help you pry the batteries out
  • Replace the batteries with 3 new AAA type batteries
  • Close the meter cover

 
 


NOTE: If your meter was not plugged into a wall outlet during the battery change, you will see the message Inspection Required. You will have to reset the date and time before printing postage.
